What automation actually controls
A modern control system ties your variable speed pump, heater, salt system, lights, spa and water features into one app. You set schedules once and adjust from anywhere — the airport, the office, or the lanai.

Where the savings come from
The pump is usually the second-largest electricity consumer in a Florida home. Automation makes variable speed scheduling practical, and running longer at lower RPM filters better while using dramatically less power.
Heaters are the other big one. Automated schedules stop the heater from maintaining a temperature nobody is using midweek, then bring the spa up quickly when you actually want it.
Retrofit or new build?
New construction is the easy case — automation gets designed into the equipment pad from day one. But most existing SWFL pools can be retrofitted, especially if a variable speed pump or newer heater is already installed.
